Greenwood Lake
Greenwood Lake owns more than 600 acres of natural woodland with 15 acres of developed recreation area. Here you’ll find the pleasures of the nature at it’s best, and friends who feel like family.
Originally constructed by Lehigh Coal & Navigation, Greenwood provided summer recreation for families of the company’s senior executives. The property was purchased in 1972 by the current lake association for recreation as well as to conserve and maintain the land. That means it’s pristine; nature at its best, beloved by the Greenwood community.

One of the things that makes Greenwood so special is that it knows that nature is best when it’s respected, not overrun. So there is a maximum number of memberships at any given time. Right now, however, there are a few spots open, so there’s a chance for you to be part of Greenwood.
